  "abstract": "This paper develops relativistic nuclear structure, motivated by past, current and future experi- ments at Jefferson Lab and the Electron-Ion Collider. Building on existing tools from conventional nuclear physics, we reformulate them in a relativistic, light-front-quantized framework. Our light- front nuclear structure calculations reproduce nuclear binding energies and shell structure well, and incorporate the physics of nucleon-nucleon short-ranged-correlations (SRCs) through similarity renormalization group techniques. Our results are that a purely nucleonic description is insufficient to capture inclusive electron-nucleus scattering data. It does not fully reproduce the plateaus seen at high Bjorken-xB, pointing to the importance of non-nucleonic dynamics responsible for the EMC effect",
