  "abstract": "The present study analyzes pediatric ameloblastoma, a benign odontogenic tumor that, although ranking second in frequency within this group of neoplasms, occurs in children far less fre-quently than in adults. Its study is justified by its locally aggressi-ve behavior, high recurrence rate, and the need for an integrated diagnostic and therapeutic strategy. The objective was to descri-be the clinical, radiological, embryological, and genetic features of pediatric ameloblastoma, with comparative reference to other odontogenic tumors. A literature review was conducted based on a clinical case diagnosed and treated in a pediatric patient, using scientific databases with publications between 2015 and 2025. The case involved a six- year-old girl presenting with an asymp-tomatic mandibular mass initially interpreted as an adenomatoid odontogenic tumor and treated through enucleation and bone curettage. After five years, a recurrence was diagnosed as acan-thomatous ameloblastoma, which was managed surgically, with a new histologically confirmed relapse two years later, requiring additional intervention and comprehensive multidisciplinary fo-llow-up. At present, the patient shows no evidence of recurrence. It is concluded that pediatric ameloblastoma demands early diag-nosis, the incorporation of molecular studies, a well-coordinated interdisciplinary management strategy, and long-term clinical and radiological monitoring in order to optimize treatment and reduce the likelihood of relapse.",
