  "abstract": "Introduction: We describe a case of iridocorneal endothelial (ICE) syndrome 13 years after a bilateral insertion of implantable Collamer lenses in a patient to rectify severe myopia.\n\nCase Presentation: A 31-year-old woman presented to our hospital with elevated intraocular pressure detected during a routine physical examination. She had undergone bilateral implantable Collamer lens implantation 13 years ago to correct her high myopia. Slit lamp examination revealed appropriate vaulting of the lenses in both eyes. The right eye was structurally normal, but the left eye showed peripheral corneal opacity and edema, slight pigmented keratic precipitates, pupil displacement, sluggish response to light, iris atrophy, and peripheral anterior iris adhesions. In vivo confocal microscopy demonstrated enlargement of the endothelial cells in the left eye, with hyper-reflective nuclei of diverse shapes and visible mitotic images. The diagnosis was ICE syndrome.\n\nConclusion: Our report is the first to document the occurrence of ICE syndrome in pseudophakic eyes, with no preoperative abnormalities noted.",
