  "abstract": "A 28-year-old man from Nepal who had been studying in Japan for 2 years was referred to our hospital after an abnormal finding during a routine medical checkup.He reported a 6-month history of cough, fatigue, exertional dyspnea, and weight loss of 10 kg.Computed tomography (CT) revealed tree-in-bud nodules in the upper lobes of both lungs, along with multiple masses on the pleura, peritoneum, and thoracic wall, some of which showed necrosis (Picture A, B, C, and D).These findings raised the suspicion of disseminated malignancies (e.g., mesothelioma, metastatic tumors, or sarcoma).CT-guided pleural biopsy and stab culture were performed.The diagnosis was disseminated tuberculosis.Mycobacterium tuberculosis spreads from intrapulmonary foci via endobronchial, hematogenous, and lymphatic routes to the pleura, peritoneum, and chest wall, resulting in polyserositis (1).Antituberculosis therapy was in-",
