"abstract": "This paper provides novel insight into the placental lipidome in relation to physical activity status in uncomplicated pregnancies. Lipid profiles differ significantly between physically active and inactive groups. Several lipids containing DHA, an essential omega-3 fatty acid with critical roles in fetal brain development, were found to be higher in placentas from active pregnancies. Thirty-four differentially expressed lipids were identified, highlighting future avenues for exploring how physical activity impacts pregnancy outcomes.",
