"abstract": "Purpose: To evaluate the quality and reliability of YouTube videos on arthrogenic muscle inhibition (AMI) using validated assessment instruments and to identify predictors of higher‐quality content.\n\nMethods: This cross‐sectional study analyzed English‐language YouTube videos identified on November 2, 2025, using the search terms “arthrogenic muscle inhibition” and “AMI.” Video quality was assessed using the DISCERN, Journal of the American Medical Association, and Global Quality Score instruments. Assessments were performed independently by 2 experienced knee surgeons. Correlations between quality scores and video characteristics (views, likes, comments, time online, duration, source, and topic) were analyzed using nonparametric tests and multivariate regression with Bonferroni correction.\n\nResults: A total of 45 videos were analyzed. Mean scores were 44.9 ± 20.5 for DISCERN, 1.47 ± 1.56 for Journal of the American Medical Association, and 2.93 ± 1.53 for Global Quality Score, indicating overall low‐to‐moderate quality. Video quality was strongly correlated across scoring systems (ρ > 0.86, P < .001). Videos addressing mechanisms and therapeutic interventions had the highest quality (mean DISCERN score: 62.7), whereas videos on patient experience and rehabilitation alone scored lowest (P < .001). Comment count correlated negatively with DISCERN scores (ρ = –0.37, P = .046). Video topic was the strongest independent predictor of video quality (P < .001).\n\nConclusions: YouTube videos on AMI demonstrate low‐to‐moderate quality and reliability, with substantial variation by topic and content type.\n\nClinical Relevance: Improving the quality of online AMI‐related content may enhance patient education and promote accurate dissemination of rehabilitation information.",
