"abstract": "Pemphigus is an autoimmune blistering disease affecting both the skin and mucous membranes, causing secondary infections and high mortality. Micronutrients are important factors influencing the health of oral mucosa. It has been reported that patients with pemphigus have reduced levels of vitamins A, B3, D, copper, iron, selenium, and antioxidants. However, the specific mechanistic role of micronutrients in the initiation and progression of pemphigus remains poorly characterized. This review presents a detailed exploration of the relationship between pemphigus and micronutrient levels, seeking to unravel the mechanistic basis of micronutrients’ effects on pemphigus pathogenesis and to discuss their prospective applications in the disease’s prevention and therapy.",
