Thermal and optical signatures of a magnetic AdS black hole in dark matter and quintessence
Abstract
We study a static magnetic anti-de Sitter black hole surrounded by perfect-fluid dark matter and quintessence. We follow the geometry from the horizon to the observer. We first examine the horizons and curvature. We then calculate the Hawking temperature and sparsity, weak light bending, the photon sphere, the shadow, strong-deflection coefficients, relativistic images, and simple Event Horizon Telescope size intervals. Because the model has several parameters, we use a one-dimensional benchmark path labelled by η. The point η= 0 is Schwarzschild, while η= 1 is the selected full configuration. This path is only a clear way to present the combined changes; it is not a new coupling. We derive the main relations step by step and test the weak- and strong-field approximations with direct numerical geodesics. Along the path, the outer horizon, photon sphere, critical shadow scale, and relativistic Einstein rings move outward. A formal solar-limb comparison gives η≲ 2.06 × 10−5 if the same local environment is placed around the Sun, but this is a source-dependent analogue rather than a universal bound. With the central mass and distance values used here, the M87* diameter allows 0 ≤ η≤ 1, while the adopted Sgr A* interval gives η≲ 0.665. Longer derivations, error propagation, and numerical checks are collected in the appendices.
