Well-posedness result for a stochastic model of contact with adhesion
Abstract
This paper addresses the mathematical analysis of a stochastic nonlinear PDE system describing contact with adhesion between a viscoelastic body and a rigid support. The underlying model has been proposed in the deterministic setting by M. Frémond and mainly combines the damage and contact theories making use of the phase fields approach. The main result of this paper is the proof of existence and uniqueness of a solution for such a stochastic system by means of a fixed-point procedure.
