Twisted Correlators from Harmonic Superspace
Abstract
We establish a harmonic superspace formulation for 𝒩=2 orbifolds of 𝒩=4 super-Yang-Mills (SYM) theory. We account for the orbifold projection by introducing topological defect lines to the planar supergraphs of 𝒩=4 SYM. These twist lines are sourced by twisted sector operators, transparent to vector multiplets but generate orbifold phases when crossed by bifundamental hypermultiplet fields. This formalism establishes a refinement of the orbifold inheritance principle at supergraph level. As a direct application, we compute leading twist-dependent corrections to BPS two- and three-point functions, finding agreement with localisation results in extremal cases and generating new data for non-extremal correlators. We further map these corrections to finite-size effects in the twisted hexagon formalism. This opens a path towards an all-order integrability prescription of orbifold structure constants.
