A note on coupled Dirac-harmonic maps

Abstract

We construct coupled Dirac-harmonic maps from manifolds of the form S1× M where M is a spin manifold equipped with a pair of harmonic spinors satisfying a norm condition. This method produces coupled Dirac-harmonic maps from closed manifolds.
