Wetting theorems in capillarity theory
Abstract
We prove the uniform convergence of Plateau borders to Plateau singularities in the vanishing-volume limit of a soap film model based on capillarity theory. The results are formulated in the context a new type of local area minimizer that takes into account how a soap film locally separates its surrounding space.
