Characterization of Structured Exponential Systems
- 1Department of Applied Mathematics, Pukyong National University, Busan 48513, Republic of Korea
Abstract
We provide characterizations for when an exponential system with a structured spectrum forms a frame, a Riesz sequence, a Riesz basis, or an orthogonal basis on unions of translated domains. These characterizations are expressed in terms of the mapping properties of an associated matrix, with periodic spectra included as a special case.
