Topological and Diophantine properties of lattice subset projections

Abstract

This paper uses the Baire category theorem, the Riemannian manifold structure of Grassmannians, and the Khintchine Groshev theorem in Diophantine analysis, to relate properties of lattice subsets to those of associated subset of a Grassmannian.
