Delooping levels on Morita context algebras
Abstract
We study the behavior of various delooping levels in the setting of Morita context algebras with zero bimodule homomorphisms. Building on the notion of syzygies for modules over such algebras, we establish conditions under which the delooping level (see [6]) of a Morita context algebra is finite, provided that the component algebras also have finite delooping levels. We further extend these results to other invariants, the global delooping level (see [2]) and the derived delooping level (see [8]), showing how their finiteness is preserved in the Morita context. Several examples illustrate both the applicability of our criteria and the necessity of the hypotheses, highlighting cases where the delooping level of the whole algebra can be smaller than that of its components.
