Multiple Calcified Nodules Associated With 3 Temporally Distinct Myocardial Infarctions

Abstract

coronary syndrome.1 Although the absence of thrombus precludes lesion-specific attribution of the infarctions, this case demonstrates the coexistence of multiple LMT/LAD calcified nodules and 3 temporally distinct LAD-territory infarctions.Given the adverse prognosis of recurrent myocardial infarction, 2 these findings provide pathological insight into recurrent myocardial injury.
