Abstract

Solar irradiance and temperature were measured on horizontal and vertical surfaces representing roof and facade configurations, respectively. Continuous monitoring was conducted at Parque i in Medellín, Colombia, from January 30 to June 12, 2026, with mean measured sampling interval of 6.85 s, generating a high‑temporal-resolution dataset of environmental conditions. The data acquisition platform comprised RS‑RA‑N01‑AL irradiance sensors and DS18B20 temperature sensors connected to a Raspberry Pi 5operating within an edge computing architecture, enabling real‑time data validation, local storage, and cloud transmission. This dataset provides a basis for evaluating photovoltaic performance, supporting renewable energy research, and informing architectural integration strategies for building‑integrated photovoltaics (BIPV).
