Remarks on Lattice Actions Corresponding to Automorphism Groups of Smooth Cubic Fourfolds
Abstract
The automorphism groups of smooth cubic fourfolds over the complex numbers, together with actions on defining equations, are classified in previous works. In this paper, we complete the calculation of group actions on the primitive integral cohomology lattice for all of the $156$ families in the classification. We distinguish similar families, determine the remaining action-maximal cases, and use restriction to complete the list. We also determine the generic algebraic lattices for each family. The calculation depends mainly on OSCAR.
