On the gap of thresholds

Abstract

We propose an algorithm to compute the gap numbers of log canonical thresholds, anticanonical thresholds, and ℝ-complementary thresholds for surface pairs with a given rational hyperstandard coefficient set. As an example, we compute these gap numbers for a special hyperstandard set that appears in the effective boundedness of n-complements for surface pairs.
