A zero-density estimate for the symmetric square L-functions in the weight aspect

Abstract

In this paper, we prove a zero-density estimate for the symmetric square L-functions associated with Hecke eigencuspforms in the weight aspect. The proofs are based on the mollified second moment of these L-functions.
