A lower bound for the Call-Silverman height in cyclotomic extensions
Abstract
For quadratic postcritically finite polynomials defined over a number field K, we establish lower bounds for the Call-Silverman height of wandering algebraic integers lying in cyclotomic extensions of K and provide partial results for the nonintegral case. Our proof combines potential theory and algebraic number theory with equidistribution techniques.
