Manipulating stereo-communication in binaphthol-bridged α- and β-cyclodextrins to develop β-selective chiroptical pH switching and anion sensing in water
Abstract
The unfavourable stereocommunication mode between cyclodextrins and binaphthyls translates into highly responsive chiroptical behavior, chiroptical switching, and selective chiroptical sensing of perrhenate in aqueous solution.
