Magnetic cotangent groupoids
Abstract
We introduce magnetic cotangent groupoids on the cotangent bundle of a Lie groupoid using normalized cocycles, and characterize when magnetic symplectic forms are multiplicative on these groupoids. We show that ๐1-central extensions of Lie groupoids yield such structures via symplectic reduction. For a Kac--Moody extension, the resulting deformation connects the coadjoint and gauge action groupoids, which are not Morita equivalent.
