Abstract

Scapholunate instability remains difficult to treat, particularly in lesions involving detachment of the dorsal intercarpal ligament from the scaphoid. We describe the Scapholunate Osseous Ligament Anchor-based Round-block technique, an arthroscopic anchor-based repair designed to reinsert and retension the dorsal capsuloligamentous complex. The procedure allows dynamic assessment of reduction and may be combined with additional palmar stabilization when needed. This modular technique may represent a useful arthroscopic option for selected patterns of scapholunate instability.
