Ab Initio Calculations of 6He + p Reactions
Abstract
The no-core shell model with continuum (NCSMC) is an ab initio framework for description of nuclear structure and reactions. Recent developments of the NCSMC allow for calculations of charge-exchange and nucleon-transfer reactions. We have applied the NCSMC to calculate cross sections of the (p,p), (p,n), and (p,t) reactions on radioactive 6He, using chiral nuclear forces as input.
