Bogoliubov Dynamics and Zitterbewegung in Optical Dirac Systems
Abstract
We develop a bosonic Bogoliubov description of Zitterbewegung in time-dependent optical-Dirac systems. Within the optical-Dirac framework, the anomalous pair-creation and pair-annihilation terms of a bosonic Bogoliubov Hamiltonian correspond to couplings between the positive- and negative-frequency sectors, whose coherence underlies the Zitterbewegung response. When the constitutive parameters vary in time, the resulting moving-frame connection generates dynamical interbranch coupling and positive--negative-frequency coherence. Under periodic modulation, this coupling becomes resonant near Ω≃2ω0, leading to parametric amplification of the coherence and consequently to an enhanced Zitterbewegung motion.
