Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual male Celypha striana (Barred Marble; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Tortricidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 681.14 megabases and 745.99 megabases. Most of the haplotype 1 assembly (99.04%) was scaffolded into 13 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.36 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
