Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual female Cyrtopogon pulchripes (robber fly; Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Asilidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 1,370.56 megabases and 1,360.19 megabases. Most of the haplotype 1 assembly (95.65%) was scaffolded into six chromosomal pseudomolecules. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.77 kilobases.
