A Note on the Smoluchowski Coagulation-Fragmentation Equation with Fractional Laplacian
Abstract
In this work, we assess the well-posedness of the Smoluchowski coagulation-fragmentation equation with fractional Laplacian. In particular, we consider a truncated set of discrete Smoluchowski-type equations modeling the formation of clusters, with homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions, where the diffusive term describes a non-standard behavior in the movement of particles ('anomalous' diffusion).
