Comments on Réale, Dall, and Dingemanse (2026). Praise, and a pathway for integrating the study of personality evolution
Abstract
Réale, Dall, and Dingemanse have contributed a valuable commentary, both in terms of clarifying how to (and not to) consider “personality traits” and in, perhaps unknowingly, providing a glimmer of a bridge that can unify the study of animal and human personality. My comments reveal the bridge in all its glory.
