Δ*-Mixing and Products of Full-Scattering Systems
Abstract
We resolve two questions posed by Huang and Ye concerning full-scattering systems. First, we construct a four-symbol subshift which is Δ*-mixing but not full-scattering, thereby showing that Δ*-mixing does not imply full-scattering. Second, we prove that every finite product of full-scattering systems is full-scattering.
