EEA health-relevant data streams: air pollution, climate, noise, chemicals and industrial emissions

  1. 1European Environment Agency, Copenhagen, Denmark

Abstract

The EEA receives from its member and cooperating countries a wealth of health-relevant validated and quality-assured data which are then organized in standardized datasets and made freely available to the public and researchers. These include detailed data on air pollutants (emissions, concentrations, exposure and health impacts), environmental noise (road, rail and aircraft), climate-aggravated exposures and industrial emissions to air, water and soil, among others. The data is published and made available through the EEA datahub and different thematic hubs providing context to the collected data. New data and updates to the EEA datahub will be presented.
