Abstract
Cold tumors are poorly recognized by host immunity. Tumor tagging strategies—neoantigen, xenogeneic, and viral antigen tagging—endow tumor cells with identifiable antigens via engineered probiotics, oncolytic viruses, and mRNA delivery. These tactics yield compelling preclinical and clinical results, emerging as a novel promising strategy for cancer immunotherapy.
